Tuk Tuk Box
Role: Social Media Manager
Goal: Create a social media content strategy and work with the Tuk Tuk Box founders in the everyday social media operations.
I worked closely with their founders Bea and Christy to amplify the stories about Southeast Asia to their audiences. As small business owners, they were DIY-ing their platforms and seeing what worked. After working with me, they now have a more concrete vision for their platforms.
Shedding Light On Southeast Asian Food & Culture
I love working with Women-owned businesses. As a an entrepreneur myself, it truly is so inspiring. When Bea and Christy of Tuk Tuk Box came to me for support in crafting their social media strategy, I was ecstatic to see we share our Southeast Asian identities with each other.
As a small but mighty team, their social media platforms have always been managed by themselves on top of doing all the other big things that come with owning your own company.
As their Social Media Manager, I owned the creation of their monthly social media content calendars - which include scheduling out posts on Later, curating photos, researching Southeast Asia culture and food, and writing copy. I also supported their everyday community management - designing and posting stories, engaging with their followers, and connecting with other women-owned brands.
Working with Tuk Tuk Box resulted in a thriving online community, increased brand awareness, and a genuine connection with the target audience. The brand's commitment to education, cultural celebration, and collaboration contributed to a positive and authentic digital presence, making it a respected voice in the CPG space.
