Empire State Of Mind: A New York Travel Diary

It feels weird being back on the West Coast. These past few days felt like a dream and I really did not want to wake up. I’ve always wanted to visit New York since I was little. I’ve always been so fascinated by it (like Paris! Ahh I can’t wait for this summer!). For my 21st birthday, my dad wanted to give me this trip as a present! It was all I could ever ask for, to be honest. Coming to New York was the perfect thing to do to kick off my 21st year! It made me realize how much I love the city life. You all know how much I love San Francisco! New York was San Francisco on steroids and I loved every minute of it.
I flew back to California this afternoon and I am already having major withdrawals! New York has sparked a new motivation for me to work hard in pursuing my dreams. Being a hub for all things fashion, media, business, and publications, this is definitely a place I see myself living and working in! New York is so rich in culture, being a melting pot of many different backgrounds from all over the world. It is the place to be in your 20 somethings. If I can make it there, I can make it anywhere!
Spending my spring break there was the BEST. DECISION. EVER. Surprisingly, I was able to visit 90% of my New York Wishlist. I am very satisfied! To sum up my entire trip,  here is my NYC  Photo Diary:

Day 1: Midtown (Times Square, Grand Central Station, & Empire State Building)

Day Two: Upper East Side, Flat Iron & Chelsea

Day Three: Brooklyn, Chinatown, SoHo, Little Italy, Greenwich, World Trade Center

Day 4: Queens

I honestly can’t wait to visit again! Next time, I hope to explore museums, try more food, and experience NYC nightlife.
New York, you are already missed. I fell in love with you. Don’t worry, I’ll be back! You’ll see me soon.
Sincerely,
